Dy move
Dymove is the researching project regarding the topic of discrimination into the work field.
Dymove. Diversity on the Move is a project co-funded by the European Union – DG justice – Progress Program, with the objective of exploring the thematic of discrimination at work, in particular about the sexual orientation, focusing on the diversity management in the public administrations and public utilities.
The project has foreseen:
- a communication campaign inside the ATAC Rome tram / bus; Rome Termini station; Milan Central Station, on board of the Frecciarossa Milan-Rome and Milan-Naples and the displaying of the “Urban Diversity” photographic exhibition at Milan Central Station;
- establishment of a Journalism Award and an Award for companies that promote best practices of diversity management;
- publication of a European research on the theme of best practices of diversity management in public administrations and public transport companies
- training courses for the pilot municipalities of Bologna, Ancona, Palermo, Genoa, Ferrovie dello Stato, ATAC, the Order of Journalists of Palermo, Turin, Florence and within 11 schools of journalism.
The project was carried out by UNAR in partnership with Cittalia, Codice Ricerche, ARCI, ArciGay, A.Ge.DO, Associazione Carta di Roma, MIT, ENAR, FISH and Fondazione Sodalitas and involved operators of Ferrovie dello Stato, ATAC Roma and the schools of Journalism in Rome, Turin, Milan, Bari and Perugia.
