Action week against racism: 2014 edition
On the occasion of the World Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which is celebrated on March 21 worldwide, UNAR (National Office of Racial Anti-Discrimination) organized the “Action Week against Racism”, a sensitization campaign its tenth edition, scheduled from 17 to 23 March. The aim was to promote the values of intercultural dialogue in public opinion and among young people. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, UNAR, with the collaboration of the ANCI and the MIUR, asked the municipalities, the schools, the participating citizens a simple gesture that could testify to the campaign: color orange their city, their school or realize moments of
meeting and reflection on the issues of the prevention of racial discrimination and the protection of human rights.
